Elena Rebeccato began her journey in Monselice, Italy, in 2003, where she initially trained in ballet, modern, and contemporary dance techniques. Her pursuit for dancing led her to study at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, Austria, in 2018, and later at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance), where she completed a four-year program in 2024. As a dancer and artist, Elena is deeply intrigued by the intricate logic of movement, the interplay between various art forms, and the dynamic connection between performers and audiences. Her practice uniquely combines vulnerability and strength, allowing her to explore the instinctual and sensual knowledge of the body. She is particularly passionate about using dance to challenge perceptions, promote tolerance and acceptance, and engage with the unfamiliar.
